The Challenge
The main challenge was designing a user-friendly UI journey for remote features while adhering to the technical constraints imposed by vehicle engineers. Additionally, the project required creating visually appealing illustrations and animations to enhance the user experience, all within a tight timeline for the European launch.
The Solution
I collaborated closely with the UX designer to iterate on the UI journey, ensuring it met both user needs and technical requirements. Vibrant illustrations and micro-animations were developed to represent key functionalities, such as waking up the vehicle and unlocking doors. These were animated using After Effects, Bodymovin, and LottieFiles to bring the interface to life.
The Result
The redesigned app successfully integrated remote services with a visually engaging and intuitive interface. The European launch, starting in Portugal, was supported by a promotional video created in After Effects, showcasing the app's new features and enhancing user adoption.
